We went from Casual to Glam, from candid to posed, and I must say Mon & Jessica were fantastic models! A couple like this are a photographers dream, now I can’t wait to shoot their wedding!! Here are a few of my favs from the shoot…

I like to start by individually photographing the different aspects that will make up her “dressing” ….the shoes, flowers, perfume, and anything else unique to her. Then whilst the bride is carefully getting into her dress (usually with the help of willing bridesmaids or mum) I love to photograph the (sometimes hectic) event that IS ‘The Dress’! How to get the dress on without touching the hair and makeup, and how to do up the million buttons!!

But my absolute favourite part is once she is fully dressed, and looking like she has just stepped down from heaven! Here are just a few photographs taken of Jane during her ‘Dressing of the Bride’ moment…..

LeRoy and Yordanos did a superb job planning their wedding from two different countries, then meeting up in Australia to wed! After praying for the rain to cease and the sun to shine, God certainly answered their prayers, and after a grey morning the sun came out gloriously! The ceremony was held in the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney which was also an amazing backdrop for their photographs. Yordanos was stunning in her white strapless gown, and LeRoy was dasher in his three piece tails.  After walking around to Lady Macquarie’s Chair we then drove to Blues Point Reserve for some sunset shots.  LeRoy & Yordanos – In love and ready to take on the world…..

Our morning in Manly started off very windy, but thank God the sun was shining! Getting ready in the Sebel, Anita’s room was aflutter with makeup artists, hairstylists, bridesmaids, photographers, videographers and of course – mum! The champagne flowed to get everyone in the mood (and calm those nerves). Anita was the most organised bride I have seen, doing last minute seating arrangements in between hairspray and bobbypins! The lovely couple shared their vows with excited guests at the Sebel. We then had a short moment to capture some shots of the newlyweds on the boardwalk, before it was back up to the Sebel for a lovely cocktail reception in the most gorgeous room!! Anita & Chris are so in love, and seem to be made for each other!

Cinthia and I have been friends for, well I’ve actually lost count of exactly how long, but at least 6 years! We met at church through a friend, and become buddies pretty soon after. All those who know Cini well would have encountered her zannyiness! She is certainly a blast to be around, and always the life of the party. I was quite touched to see her walking down the aisle, arm in arm with her mum. She looked absolutely stunning, but no one would have expected anything else. The wedding was such a  joy for me. To be able to be there in the company of my hubby, beautiful baby girl and close friends – sit back, drink some bubbly, enjoy the harbour, and not be the sweaty photographer (for once)! But of course I couldnt resist taking just a few snaps….
